BirdWatch® Red Light is an All-in-One red light detector based on a non-intrusive technology, which provides red light enforcement at intersections without the need of installing physical loops in the road. It is a photo enforcement unit for red light detection and traffic enforcement. Detection is carried out via virtual loops that are easy to edit and modify.

Easy installation

BirdWatch® Red Light is a stand alone unit which can work independently from any connection to the traffic light or traffic controller, reducing complex cabling and making its installation easier.
Processor, camera, lighting, inputs and outputs are included in a hand-sized and light-weight housing with the ability of self-triggering without the need of external cables or physical sensors.

Small and leaktight housing

All that is needed to detect the red light violation is included in a ultra-compact camera resistant to water and dust (IP67) and to all weather conditions.

Some red light detection systems in the market either are not all-in-one units, which means that do not include processor, camera, lighting and I/O in the same housing, or if they are all-in-one then they are quite big and heavy.  The All-in-One BirdWatchâ Red Light is a red light camera which includes all the software and hardware in a compact and easy-to-handle unit. It weights around 2kg and is encased in a housing of hand-sized dimensions. The design of the red light camera makes it ideal for any urban environment and can be placed in any country and under all weather conditions.

3D previewer tool

In order to reinforce the easy friendly concept and reduce installation time, the BirdWatch non-intrusive red light camera comes with a 3D previewer tool that allows recreating the setting and previewing the scene before it is installed.
